Educational Qualification | విద్యార్హత

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. The degree should be awarded by an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or any other legally established university under Indian law.

Selection Process | ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ

The selection process for the UPSC Notification Assistant Commandants Examination 2025 consists of five stages:

1. Written Examination (లిఖిత పరీక్ష)

• The written examination consists of two papers:
  • Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence (250 Marks) – Objective type questions in English and Hindi.
  • Paper II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension (200 Marks) – Descriptive type questions.
• Candidates must qualify Paper I to have their Paper II evaluated.

2. Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Test (PET/PST) | భౌతిక ప్రమాణాలు/శారీరక సామర్థ్య పరీక్ష (PET/PST)

• Candidates who qualify the written exam must undergo PET/PST.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) standards:
  • For Male Candidates:
    • 100 Meters Race: 16 seconds
    • 800 Meters Race: 3 minutes 45 seconds
    • Long Jump: 3.5 meters (3 chances)
    • Shot Put (7.26 kg): 4.5 meters (3 chances)
  • For Female Candidates:
    • 100 Meters Race: 18 seconds
    • 800 Meters Race: 4 minutes 45 seconds
    • Long Jump: 3.0 meters (3 chances)
• Candidates must also meet the minimum physical standards in height, weight, and chest measurements as per UPSC norms.

3. Interview/Personality Test | ఇంటర్వ్యూ/వ్యక్తిత్వ పరీక్ష

• Candidates who qualify the PET/PST will be called for an Interview/Personality Test.
• The interview carries 150 marks.
• This stage tests leadership skills, communication, decision-making, and overall personality.

4. Medical Examination | వైద్య పరీక్ష

• Candidates must meet medical fitness standards as per UPSC guidelines.
• Any medical conditions that disqualify candidates will be reviewed, and appeals can be made if needed.

5. Final Merit List | తుది మెరిట్ జాబితా

• The final selection is based on total marks obtained in the Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test.
• Candidates will be allotted services based on merit and preference.
